HEALING in the face of impossible

Doctor said she would never speak again. After she left the hospital, 3 am every morning, mom would read aloud bits and pieces of the Bible she knew so well at first only noises came to move towards characters then sentences finally pages. The word of God is living and active and it worked to heal her brain, making new neurons, connecting beyond the damaged zone to create new words and build a new language to express what her mind had lost. She now speaks and reads defying the doctor’s original conclusion because God redeemed and restored what he originally created.
